Dear RCDP Families,

What a wonderful start to the school year! September has been a month of exploration and discovery in our new classrooms. We’ve been busy building new and old friendships with teachers and peers, and diving into exciting new concepts. I’m overjoyed to share that my first month with Resurrection Child Development Center has been filled with love, grace, and an abundance of kindness and enthusiasm.

My name is Bhavya Doshi, and I am delighted to introduce myself as the new director of Resurrection Child Development Center. My journey in childcare began at the age of 15, when I interned at a home-based school. This early experience sparked a deep passion for working with children, which only grew stronger over the years. After earning my Master’s in Early Childhood Education from Mills College, I dedicated myself to supporting teachers and fostering joy in their work with children. With years of experience as a director, I’ve found my true calling in building a nurturing community, ensuring that our families, children, and staff experience peace and joy.

September has been bustling with activity! We kicked off the school year, enjoyed a successful Pizza My Heart fundraiser (thank you to everyone who joined us!), and spent time acclimating to our classrooms. I’ve cherished the moments spent in the classrooms, engaging with the children through play, circle time, and storytelling. Pastor Kelly has also been visiting our classrooms on Fridays, adding a special touch to our week.
