December Newsletter, 2024
Happy December, RCDP Families!
As we reflect on the wonderful month of December, we want to take a moment to express our gratitude for all the joy and special moments we share together.
We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our lovely families who join us for the feast this past November. Your participation makes the event so special. Thank you for bringing delicious potluck items, for being present, and for sharing your time and energy with us. It is a wonderful opportunity to connect with all our families, and we are truly grateful for the sense of community we continue to build together.
Throughout the month, the children enjoy a variety of holiday-themed activities, including songs, stories, and crafts that celebrate the many diverse holidays of the season. The children’s creativity and enthusiasm make our classroom come alive with the holiday spirit!
One of the highlights of the month is our Christmas Program on December 13th. The children will be performing songs and sharing their holiday spirit with all of us. It is a joy to see their hard work and excitement as they perform for their families. We hope you enjoy the program as much as we do!
We are also excited to announce our Spirit Days from December 16th to December 20th! Each day will have a fun theme, and we encourage all the children to participate:
Monday, December 16th: Pajama Day – Come dressed in your favorite cozy pajamas!
Tuesday, December 17th: Red and White Day – Wear red and white to celebrate the season.
Wednesday, December 18th: Snow Day – Dress like it’s a snowy day with scarves, hats, and mittens!
Thursday, December 19th: Grinch Day – Show your Grinch spirit with green clothing or accessories.
Friday, December 20th: Ugly Sweater Day – Wear your silliest, most festive holiday sweater!
As a reminder, our school is closed for the winter break from December 23rd to January 3rd and we look forward to welcoming everyone back when RCDP resumes on January 6th, 2025.
As we move toward the new year, it’s a great time to reflect on how much the children are learning and growing. We are grateful for your partnership in supporting their development, and we look forward to continuing this journey together.
On behalf of our entire preschool team, we wish you a joyful, peaceful, and safe holiday season. Thank you for being a part of our preschool family, and we look forward to all the new memories we will create in the year ahead!
Warm regards,
Bhavya Doshi
